Site management in AdSense is changing
Site management in AdSense is changing
The Sites tab serves as the starting point for website
owners looking to monetize their site with AdSense. As part of our efforts to
make AdSense more user-friendly, we are redesigning the Sites tab and
implementing some significant changes, enhancing its look and feel and
improving its functionality.
Revamped
Look and Feel
The most noticeable change in the new Sites tab is its
fresh and intuitive appearance. It will now display a table with search
functionality that shows your list of sites, similar to how sites are presented
throughout AdSense.
Eligible
Sites
Going forward, only domains (e.g., website.com,
website.net), subdomains whose domain is listed on the public suffix list
(e.g., site.appspot.com), and sites managed by AdSense platform partners (e.g.,
site.blogspot.com) can be added as "Sites" to AdSense. Existing
subdomains that belong to a Site will be removed, and you won't be able to add
or manage subdomains that are part of an existing Site in the Sites tab. This
change will not affect ad serving or your earnings.
Blocking
Controls for Subdomains
Existing blocking controls for subdomains will be
promoted to the domain level, as defined above. The combination of blocking
controls configured for example.com and subdomain.example.com, for instance, will
be applied to example.com. However, blocking controls for subdomains shown at
the top-level view of the Sites table will remain unchanged.
Ads.txt
Column
To provide quick visibility on the ads.txt status for
your sites, we are introducing a new column in the Sites table called
"ads.txt."
Site
Review Times
For certain types of issues discovered during the
initial review process, we will provide faster feedback. However, not all of
these improvements may be immediate for your account.
At AdSense, we strive to improve the performance and
usability of our platform continually. We value your feedback, which has helped
shape the changes we've outlined above. We will always work to enhance AdSense
to meet your needs better.
